Welcome, Miss Donna!
On September 18th, 2014 at 1 pm, a new friendship Doll, Donna, arrived at Koharagi Elementary School with the Miyagi “The Doll With Blue Eyes" Research Committee. A welcome ceremony for her as a transfer student was carried outright away in the gymnasium with all of the students and teachers, including the ALT, Jennifer.

This month, the fifth graders have been making western clothes and a futon for Donna in home economics.
We were also able to introduce Donna on October 19th at the school art festival to the
school's patrons and various people of the region who came to appreciate the art.
Donna was able to watch all of the students' fun performances with them.
Everyone at Koharagi Elementary School and in the region is very happy to welcome Donna. Thank you so much for sending Donna, Mr. Gulick! We promise to take good care of her.

(October 29st, 2014, Donna’s English page is made open to the public by Jennifer.)

They also made a futon and bag!

It has a pair of sunglasses, a walkman, a smartphone, and spare clothing.

The purple sweatshirt is the pretty clothing she wore from the United States.
